Two little other worldlies sitting on my shoulder
They sing, “Name that boy, he’s only getting older”
The angel whispers, “Peter” or “Paul” for the child
The devil says, “But no, we gotta name him something wild.”

Don’t name him something that just will not go
With the singing of the song “banana fanna fo…”
If you name him Billy Bob then make payments on a truck
If her initials spell out EZ then that’ll be her luck

Or you could name him Humphrey. Oh, what a name
And when someone hogs a cigarette that would be his fame
Sometimes naming a baby is like magnetic poetry
All the names of ancestors, which ones will it be

I got to name my baby to my wife I give her thanks
Nothing like Seymour Butts or even Rob A. Banks
I got to name my baby, no really it was a breeze
But if we ever have quadruplets, TITLE SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!

You know the "Never Ending Story"?
They're still telling it!

Glad to see you really don't need a name, I might have suggested "Anything but Sue"

This was so much fun! It took me back to when I was pregnant with my first son and my husband and I DO NOT agree on any names! I am lucky both my children were boys, because had I had a girl,, she still wouldn't have a name! Picking names is more stressful than most people think, eh?
LOL,

Dear Walt I cannot hide the truth
I cannot grin and bear it.
For if you name your baby thus,
he'll only fuss, I swear it!

Don't mind what shoulder sitters say!
Pay no attention yonder.
You name that kid your Way Out way
but don't take long to ponder!

So, careful with that baby's name,
oh yes, you're right on track.
For if you name him somethin' wild
he'll call you wild names back!
