Balloons

Bubbles of love
born of the heart,
popsicles and snowcones,
on the wings of a thought,
Thank You My Friend,
I Love You My Child,
Wishing You Well,
Haven't Seen You In A While.
Memories of life, love,
things we'd like to forget,
filling a void
nothing else has touched,
yet.
Saying the things
we can't say in words,
sharing the feelings locked up inside,
sending the joy in the songs of birds.
~
I
Love
you
~
Touch
me
~
Missing
you
~
You're
in
everything
I
see
~
All colors of the rainbow, many others, too,
running to heaven when turned loose, these
bubbly prayers, wishes, dreams, and thoughts,
even at graveside we place them for use.
Manys the thing balloons have said
from birth to death they turn every head,
they touch our hearts, our souls, our toes,
these envoys of God,
these bubbles of love.

Jimmy...theres something about a balloon isnt there? I used to love watching the hot air balloons in California when I was there...they just filled the sky with silent colours...

Balladeer - yep..."hot air" - hmmm, you've said a mouthful my friend.

Dreamkeeper - Gee I try to write pieces to bring tears and can't - now I get tears??
Just jokin' - glad you enjoyed it my friend.

Helen - Ah, my friend the sea nymph -  thank you for the kindness

Paula - gonna surprise my wife one day and           schedule her for a ride on one of            those things...she's always wanted           to do that.

This is an absolute delight!  You make these passive shells of contained air rise to unexpected heights!
