flip it over and look the other way
never speak the things you have to say
paste your words upon the wall
cover up the others you'd hate to recall
crumble inside the world you once knew
brake yourself apart into two
the one you are and the one you wish to be
the one you love and the one you hate to see
just flip it over and see it again
from another side and another way in
shadows of fear and anger inside
no where to run everywhere to hide
lost inside your mind you stay
where the world darkens on the brightest day
angle the world into the moon
and ride the waves that broke too soon
listen to the wind race through the reeds
close your eyes as the demon feeds
swirled in the silence you try to ignore
don't turn around to see my foot in the door
grab you and feel the rush inside your heart
as the fabric that is you comes apart
and your heart becomes swept away by the raging sea
destined to crash in to the rocks that are me
so grab on tight cause here we go
through the sea that neither of us could know
pounding and breaking and crashing again
whipping and roaring and moving within
wild, reckless and living the edge
foot still slipping from the perilous ledge
crumbling and fading and losing your mind
ain't it wondrous what a breaking damn will find
mud in your eyes and salt in the air
fingers losing their grip up there
water still racing in perilous doom
trying to make itself a little more room
hear it's laughter and ravenous howl
smell it's breath, sharp and foul
heart beating molten steel through your veins
mind trying to fight the comming pains
flip it over just one more time
to the gentle place where words no longer rhyme
where the leaves are green and the shadows grey
and joy is endless for the sun still shines
and the golden moon smiles and winks
for peace dwells inside your heart
everything you desire there to see
in front of you ready to use
but you turn it over once more
because you can't stand to lose
and there you shall be between two lives
one so sweet it's sick; other sharp as knives
no matter where you look it's only a way to go
remember it's only what the photo negative will show

Whew! What a trip! Taking us inside out and walking on the edge...
Nicely done!

It's getting kind of hectic up inisde there, isn't it.  Just keep spinning until the cycle is done. You aren't the only one.

sun - thanks.  I appreciate it.

lary - may there be many more trips in to the minds of those who seem to have lost them.  for in their minds we will found what dwells in ours.

sax - well it's always been that way, just never quite so vivid.  huked on foniks werked fer mi.
