"Two Hearts"

Two hearts that share a love
A love that is strong and true
Time and distance though
Has made these two hearts blue

Battles seem to last forever
The light of day just out of sight
No matter how they try
Darkness seems to take over light

Little arguments
Are now becoming the norm
Then things go back to peaceful
But hearts broken from the storm

Two hearts once fused together
Once all the answers they knew
Now questions lay scattered around
For these two hearts...me and you

Did the wind suddenly blow different
Or have the seasons just changed
Why don't things make sense anymore
Has love suddenly been rearranged

This heart is feeling the push
As though backed up against a wall
Afraid this true love
Is going to crumble and completely fall

Eyes too tired to cry anymore
I just let out a weary sigh
Praying that these two hearts make it
And love doesn't pass them by

Wonderfuly writen. Sad to hear that you're having troubles.  Just remember not to let little things get in the way of the larger picture of your dreams.  Take care.

A poignant description of our struggles with love and life - you've given it such realism. We can only keep trying and hoping...
This is a heart-tugger, very nicely done!

Amy-girl ...
you write with your heart on high ...
only you can know what is worth fighting for and what is too much of a cost ...
sometimes fate has a bigger plan ...
sometimes we have to simply let things play out ...
and make the discoveries along the way ...
in the end ... everything happens for a reason ...
regardless of the outcome ...
beautiful poetry kissed with sincerety
take care sweetie
love ya

but thine shall be the praise.

Oh Amy, this is just so sad and lonely.  Well expressed from the depths of your heart.
Love could never pass a beautiful person like you by    I hope that this soon shall pass and your bond with him will be solid once more! ~Hugs~

Aim...not a wonderful situation, but you have penned it excellently, as usual, my friend.  Love does work itself out, as much as we don't think so, or if the outcome is not what we expected...it knows what's best for us.  Take care my friend...I will talk to ya soon!
