Love, to be Loved

I love, my dearest, with all that you see
Years upon fall, to delay mine own fate.
Tempted by threads, each weaved gold in plea
But alas, only silver, turned out, lies to bait.

'Twas only in darkness, shared love was mine
Sidened by side, moments last all, my knight.
Wakened to silence, the empty, no sign
Lost to the travels, once more taken flight.

A dove on the sill, clinging note, from thou
Hints within penning, a message in prayer.
Sent on the wings and a breeze to allow
Mine heart chance to rest, as I wait in despair.

Love, to be loved is the greatest of feel
I shall wait 'til the next, for thy moments, to steal.

It gives me much pleasure to read this from your pen (I mean keyboard) this evening, thank you!

I am in awe. As a fan of sonnets, you certainly met the challenge of their limitations. I congratulate you on such a vivid piece.

My Lady Ollyne,

This that you have written with so much grace is very exceptional. The line below touched me as I read it, and I find it very beautiful with so much meaning.

"Love, to be loved is the greatest of feel
I shall wait 'til the next, for thy moments, to steal."
