Our Hearts Had Touched By: Noah Eaton 1/31/01 I sat beneath the summer stars with her atop the mountains overlooking the lush green foothills Under the diamond dust conifers and maple honey aspens, rainbow morpho butterflies and hummingbirds fluttering about merrily She lightly laid her head on my shoulder, and I had my hand out around her shoulder, gently touching her Stargazing, talking to each other as dear friends as the stars blinked with a bright light that magic was about to happen She said how ever since she was young, she picked a star in the sky as her own star, and she made a special wish And that she kept it true up until now, and then she began to tell me how lonely and scared she was before, and how she always wanted to be loved Beginning to cry in her thoughts of her memories, she holds me close, resting her head on my chest, telling me of the pain she went through As I caress the back of her neck gently with my hand, telling her everything is okay, and it’s all over now She raises her head up and wipes her tears as she tries to stop crying, and I turn to face her, looking into her sad but beautiful starry eyes Crying, feeling her emotions, I lean in to kiss her, softly touching her lips, and gently separate I tell her that I had been through all that pain before too, and I had longed to find true happiness and love myself Remembering the remnants of my sad early years, tears slide down my cheeks as I sympathize my feelings with hers Her eyes slowly burst in tears as she gently touched my face with her fingers, and she tells me how sad it must had been for she had been there too And we look into each others eyes, silkened in affection, and she gently lays her hands on my shoulders and kisses me Between each sweet soft embrace, she whispers “Please don’t cry, I’m here for you!” And I tell her, “I’ll always be there for you too!” I look into her eyes again, and slowly a smile begins to shine on her face, tears of sadness becoming tears of happiness I smile looking at her sweet soft face, and together we cry, and we hold each other,our heads over each others shoulders We tell each other how happy we make each other feel, as the stars begin to radiate like we had never seen before We look up and watch them flash all different colors, melting with pearl drop light And we tell each other… “I love you!” We look into each others eyes again and the light falls to the soft grass, light surrounding us, and we could see through each others hearts We both saw the dream lover in each others heart, as dreams floated about in the mountain skies And the aspens golden leaves shined like the sun, melting into honey, dripping to the ground, angels of the forests flying about wearing the many flowers of nature The whole mountains lighting up in romantic starlight, and we widely smile in cheer, knowing we were meant for each other, and our loves quests were complete I tell her that she is the girl of my dreams, as she tells me I am her dream love We cry in perfect happiness, as we hold each other close, watching the magic of the night fall upon us We embrace each others lips, kissing each other as I lay her on the soft sweet alpine grass, her hands tied around the back of my neck She tells me, “Oh love, please be mine forever, let me have you!” I smile looking at her angelic face under the stars, and I say, “I will never let you go, my love, I’ll always be yours!” She pulls me down to her and kisses me again and again, our lips locked in loves magic Speaking sweet words to each other between every sweet kiss, sighing in breathless beauty I burst in tears again, comfortably knowing That me and my true loves hearts had touched finally, and we had found true love to share forever… |
