ok, there are just some places a person is not meant to be, I guess I finally understand, hope you all enjoy this last little jaunt into smiles, thanks much for the welcome

one two three, do you know what you do to me?

one: did I write a poem about you yet?

You are too young for your touch
to be so warm;
was that a just a static
shock I felt
or a shiver when your fingers
slipped over
my arm and you grasped
much more than my attention?

You ask
did you write a poem about me yet?
You say
you know how I love
to smile, did I inspire you
yet?

But you are too young for your touch
to be so warm
too young for your smile to haunt my
solitude, and so I
duck your gaze,
smile softly and
shake my head and say

not yet…

two: Gemini

if the stars were truthful
they would say that both of me
want both of you
but that is not the way
it is meant to be
society has its provinces
for you and for me
so instead I cast my dreams
to a faint fire blazing a trail in the sky
and embrace deny

three: Avalanche Area, enter at your own risk

Resolved, frozen.
Stuck in a permanent
shake my head
no no no,
voiced with tight
blue lips
hiding from unforgotten pain,
eluding implications
not yet attached to blame.

In you walked and today warmed
unexpectedly.
Your smile,
a dangerous desire.
Hunger hits,
avalanching wintered want
heating up the yes, yes
oh yes
of the woman
I used to be.

I like these very much... particularly the last one. *S* However, I don't like the thought you may be leaving... for if this is a place for poets, it's a place you're meant to be. *S*

Don't know where you are not suppose to be.
Thought in here one could be where ever one wanted to be or not to be.

But i enjoyed this write very much.
Place this in my library thread.

These were wonderful, and welcome to Passions, I hope to see more of your work in the future.

I think I know exactly what you mean.
You've written it very well.
Really enjoyed it!
