Let us lay upon the pillow of the sun
upon the Canterbury bells with you
let me get lost within your eyes
your loving eyes of peacock blue

Your eyes have a chameleon hue
ever changing in the balmy breeze
but chameleon kisses lips pursue
teasing softly with expertise

In your arms under the willow trees
planting softly kisses upon my skin
dusk  falls quietly to its knees
kissing sunset, dawns fraternal twin

Upon Canterbury bells blue violet and white
lost within your eyes, a peacock bright

A poem is never finished, only abandoned.
