Lady Poetry
the voice of mine heart has always sung for thee
sung for thee since the dawn of the first age
when man first put words to paper with pen
singing songs of love and light for gods and goddesses
singing songs of power and passion for the young
singing songs of peace and purity for the old
in a voice that knew the language of the heart
and the language of the soul

Lady Poetry
the voice of mine heart has always sung for thee
sung for thee with words spoken to bard and sage
to minstrel and storyteller and passed on down,
passed on down to this poet, student of thy spirit
words that brought light to a dark and lonely world
words that brought passion to a loveless and dying world
words that brought peace to an angry and despairing world
from a poet who understood the sound of thy voice
as it sung on those long nights

Lady Poetry
the voice of mine heart has always sung for thee
sung for thee with honor, sincerity, and a heart of love
to friend and stranger and to ally and enemy
breaking down the walls that would divide us
the walls that would hide us from one another
the walls that would stifle our voices from being heard
the walls that would try to keep us inside them
with the pen, the hammer of the spirit of the word
let us break our way to new ground

Lady Poetry
the voice of mine heart has always sung for thee
for thou hast been mine first, mine only, my truest love
and so shall it ever be till time's only end
you and I will always be one in love and light
united in the spirit of creation born so long ago
I shall forever write the words to thy music sweet
together you and I shall always be Lady Poetry
I the voice and you the song

exquisite words, Sven this is so hard to compliment you on, because it would take up pages very delightful and so magical in form.
