Thinly-crusted dawn
rising.
Malleable molecules
breathing, flexing, stretching
to the pull of my heated desire.
Rising further, crusting firmer,
encasing potent flavor.
Sigh of relief, thrill of achievement -
"Behold - my wonder loaf!"
Bashful acceptance of recognition,
unobtrusive bow.

Sound of
slow, slow whooshing.
Breathing out, not in.
Mountainous magnificence
now
pancake fodder.

Guess some days are like that.

ROTFLMAO...indeed, some days ARE just like that!  Well done!
