This is posted for a certain someone who has given me some powerful inspiration lately...

two souls...undoubtedly one;
time and distance...mountains of separation.
your spellbinding heartbeats...my relentless memory;
tears and reverie...don’t wake me...

hazel windows behind protective clouds...the stillness of crashing waves;
thoughts of if only...musings of what should be.
brilliantly opaque sky...galaxies of exuberance;
transparent reflections...you know what i’m thinking...

the warmth of your embrace...the security of hands entwined;
locked in your gaze...i’m forever captive.
complementing ocean breezes...emphasis on our burning hearts;
lost in this fiery moment...don’t leave me standing here...

drums rolling in the distance...the atmosphere closing in on us;
discoveries by the minute...ruthless restrictions of time.
your breaching words...my willing resolve;
intimacy of two spirits...i just cannot be...without you.
< !signature-->

Never leave me, never go...
I need you here, I need to know...
You will always be
Close to me

The poem, beautiful!  Certainly about a mortal relationship.  Yet the photo, I have to tell you, made me want the s on someone to be upper case.  That Someone is from Whom this inspiration most surely should have come.  Lovely, snowpants.

I almost looks like a cross, don't you think?

i must have been drunk the first time i read this ...for i surely didn't give it the credit it deserves. this is superbly written with your soft touch and grace. your loving heart shines through so incredibly in this sweet friend. the fragile hope and trust of it all is simply breathtaking. one of my favorite of yours, but it is such a hard choice to make...the last line says it all. take care sweets. ttyl...

I don't see how anyone could leave you behind when you pour your heart into it and show them what you have to offer.  Very beautiful write my friend and accompanied by a wonderful graphic.  As I have said earlier, your poetry is growing alot and I am diggin' the end results much.
