~Sailing Into Serenity~

Imagine me in your whispers ... feel my presence upon mystic breeze.
Hear my voice calling to you ... my madrigal plea sung across your sea.
Point your sails in my direction ... where the ocean and horizon meet.
My desire to be your compass ... your touch makes me complete.
I could walk on water to reach you ... my need equals the ocean's crest.
Sail on into my safe harbors ... come lay beside me now and rest.
I'll be your port of sanctuary ... I'll be your lighthouse in the storm.
Let my love wash over you ... let my caress keep you warm.
Swim in my uncharted waters ... ride the waves of my liquid desire.
Bathe in undertow of afterglow ... sail the swells of passion we inspire.
Close your eyes and surrender ... this lusty current too strong to fight.
Lay back and breathe me in ... together we'll inhale the night.
My desire as vast as the ocean ... in your depths I wish to drown.
As we ride the tides of pleasure ... waves of ecstasy take us down.
Baptized in your essence ... immersed in your intensity.
Your depths my deliverence ... as we sail into serenity.
Carried by the winds of change ... on this ship named Destiny.
For just one night we'll touch infinite ... come sail upon my sea.

Janet Marie

~Into the Mystic~
~Van Morrison~
From Moondance

We were born before the wind
Also younger than the sun
Ere the bonnie boat was won...
as we sailed into the mystic
Hark, now hear the sailors cry
Smell the sea and feel the sky
Let your soul and spirit fly into the mystic
And when that fog horn blows I will be coming home
And when that fog horn blows I want to hear it
I don't have to fear it
I want to rock your gypsy soul
Just like way back in the days of old
Then magnificently we will float into the mystic
And when that fog horn blows you know I will be coming home
And when thst fog horn whistle blows I got to hear it
I don't have to fear it
I want to rock your gypsy soul
Just like way back in the days of old
And together we will float into the mystic

JM,
Your poem exploded all over me and although the grapics are terrific they are pale to the words. I very rarely save poems but this one I will save. Winkiewinkie Stinky

I love these lines, JM!  This style is great.  I hope you don't mind, but I wrote one the other day, which I'll probably post in a little bit, in SORT OF the same style...of course, mine doesn't come close to the images you've given here, but I do enjoy the style.  Love it!

Hey JM.............LOOK WHO'S HOME!!!!!
Your MUSE!!    My friend, this is one special poem in many ways and definitely one that will be remembered.  First off the topic, now how could you go wrong with that one.  Then there is the great intensity in the verse without it being too overwhelming or hard to follow.  IT reads great, the split line of course is unmistakably "YOURS" and then the rhyme was perfect.  Now about some of those lines............OHHHHHHH never mind. We will discuss those on the phone.   Nice to see you back with a muse and it looks as if she went to school and came back a scholar.
