Spirit Horses

A difficulty appears in my rising,
I endure convicted and firm,
Standing still in a social system,
Unwavering to the forces,
A humble ruler,
Of this heart and soul.

Distressed at the obligation to return,
The four chariot horses retreat,
Waking from an induced dream,
Not by a spoiler,
Called back home,
To The Light's embrace.

I remember the vision so clearly,
Following the silent deer,
Without an escort,
Only to find myself,
Alone in the forest,
Giving up the chase.

I look up to the son in the sky,
Beseeching the assistance,
Of the healing rays,
Horses raise hooves,
Following pathways,
Through the heavens.

My shadow falls upon the earth,
The struggle of expectations,
Reach up desperately,
Crying in hunger,
Desiring to be fed,
Rich favors from on high.

From behind I can hear the wailing,
The Light paves the way,
As horses turn to spirit,
And I, the rider,
Weep tears that flow,
In streams of blood.

Like droplets that become oceans,
It falls from my eyes,
Bathing the sadness,
Washing away the sorrows,
In the passage,
From above to below.

Piercing through the scorching fires,
A spark glistens and shines,
Lighting up the night,
Merging with the spirit horses,
Empowering this chariot.
Becoming undivided.

The gathering dust below,
Forms immovable mountains,
Containing caverns,
Deep and yielding,
Offer shelter and warmth,
In this humble female form.

Very nice job of having this unfold so dream-like....entrancing and visual.
