*A Connor and Brianna Poem*

Brianna. . .

I miss you terribly my heart
and I shall always miss you when you're not around. . .

Miss your smile, your voice. . .
the way that words just come from
your heart. . .
          your soul. . .

The hole in my heart needs to be filled by you,
by your words and by your love. . .
please come to me soon,
          if only in dreams. . .
and I shall be all the more in love with you. . .
          for you are my only heart, my only kindred. . .

Ah, but ours is a love ne'er to be fulfilled my heart. . .
but fate is kind and strange,
and mayhap one day we shall meet again,
and on that day
I will hold you close to my heart
          and to my body and never let you go. . .

but until that day,
I shall always hold your life and your heart in my heart. . .
safe from the cares of the world and from the storms of life. . .
I will shield you from the arrows
          that would steal your life from this plane
                    and caress your spirit with the balm of care from my soul.

This I promise to you my heart. . .
for you shall always be with me. . .
even now, until the end of time. . .

          on this plane. . .

Connor and Brianna are two characters created by Isis and myself. . . they are a Lord and Lady in early Ireland. . . we've shown parts of them here and in Dark. . . and right now, we're just exploring some of their earlier times. . . we post parts of their story from time to time. . . hope that you enjoy. . .
