Can love be everlasting?
In this endless passive sea
Can we overcome the madness?
Of this endless revelry

Our craves are never-ending
Perpetual our needs
All bleeding hearts contending
For the heightened ecstasy

We’ve an un-denying passion
For a closeness of our own
Swimming through this ocean
Try to find a way to home

Where love is always waiting
When I wake and go to sleep
There to mend my broken pieces
Lift me when I’m feeling weak

Can love be everlasting?
Become all that I have dreamed
Eternal and unmasking
Free and wild as it should be.

There are many faces of love...and yes, one is everlasting.  Pray that you find it, spiked.  I truly enjoyed this piece, finely woven.

Yes, it can, and I hope you find it.  I enjoyed reading this.

When reading your poem I felt such intensity behind the words you write...

And I gotta tell ya Spiked, I believe in love everlasting and my outlook on life is that the journeys I've travelled will one day lead to that one path where forevermore true love shall last; it's just those darn journeys seem endless and at times can get one frazzled if ya know what I mean

Enjoyed this read thank you

Ty Serene

Sea Hope so

Doreen not really a question of can it be, but should really ask will it be. To have been blessed once in a lifetime with love is great, to be blessed more than once is a wonder

It should be free and wild
