Dare not deter this just repose
For if you do, you can suppose
This poet with no verse to spill
And writer's block shall find the quill

But if you leave this poet be
No doubt the morning sun shall se
A masterpiece of words in rhyme
A work of art in metered time.

Meter away
for this is where then fine sits in
while I, unmetered, sit in sin!

Can't wait!  Well, I can, and will...but Can't seemed a much better response!

Those are glorious mornings, those creative dawns, aren't they? I think of this little gem of yours every time I start to stress about writer's block...that dawn will come...in the meantime I will try to enjoy the repose!

Nan~

You quill us wisdom.
Where upon the dawn ...
The ink of inspiration
finds it's song.
Sung across the sunrise time
perfect meter, perfect rhyme.

"Wait 'til the sun shines," Nanner !

Just wonderful, Nan! Do I ever relate. You were born to rhyme and pen inspirations!

Take care,
Melissa

REally cute piece!  Yes, we write by writing.  Have you seen the movie, "Finding Forrester"?  I just saw it today.  Save for the language I don't appreciate, it was a fantastic movie.  Of course it was about a writer and an aspiring writer he was mentoring.  So inspiring!
