Forever In Your Heart

How must I, a poet, write these words of pain?,
Pain that is of a love, a longing, destiny or fate,
Belonging to another, yet I the poet, have no escape,

What poet has not expressed his deepest love, deepest pain, or joy? For love is the muse of my inspiration,Love is the art of ones' life, ones'
soul, ones' trial, and ones' creation,

For what crime would my heart be condemned?
On trial for the results of my sins? Is it a sin to love? To love more than one? I will let the judge be my poets' pen,

What is this searching? the other half to ones' soul? a life-long quest to be found, and I the poet,
Have made a mistake, my other half longs to be with me, but I am bound, I am bound,

So I sit, not being free, only through my poetry,
Writing from poets pen, expressing my love to thee,
The only way to release such pain, is hope these words I write will be sewn deep inside your heart, forever to remain, forever to remain...

One day our hearts will be set free, and we will be free to live and love again....Underneath the love of my Poets' Pen.

Romantic,
No, we have no escape.  I guess we all write for one kind of connection or another, even if it's only with oneself sometimes.  I think your poet's pen has a lot more to write about . . . pain, love, sin, searching?

ARH, I get the feeling that you feel trapped in your circumstances of life. Not a good place to be, I hope you can find the freedom you need. But always come here and let me read your poetry.

Romantic Heart,
I enjoyed the way your words seem to flow from you. It is obvious that this was very close to you. You expressed yourself quite eloquently. I liked this work ,good job.

I guess when it comes to poetry, our feelings show...hehe...on a serious note, I have been through the most painful experiance anyone could go through in their life...I have been confused, and searching, you guys know me too well. Poetry helps me cope and helps me see the real me. When the real me was hurt, betrayed, deceived.
You give all of your love, your heart and more to a man...please him in every way, and then get this in return? what gives? what did I do wrong? what did I not do? I tried so hard to cover all the bases? reason and logic doesn't fit?
I am one who analizes everything, disects, finds answers to hidden truths....but this one leaves me with why for the rest of my life? Why? and what is done cannot be took back or erased.
I feel the pain has left me scared for life,
the more you love, the deeper the pain...and I gave 200%.

Thank you Mr.Magoo I hope so too!

krawdad...very true! sometimes we feel that all we have is ourselves, to trust and believe in. Our poets feelings and passion connect us all to feel eachothers pain.

Parker...Are you a mind reader? How sweet a compliment could one ever ask for! I always look and read your poetry when I first sign on! I enjoy your poetry, reading it gives me a lift...so never stop posting yours...

ethome..Poetry is my heart, sometimes my heart has to release all feelings inside,
this is the cleansing, the happiness I feel when I write poetry.

David2...Thank you,it was close to me, all of my poetry is who i am, what I feel, sometimes real, sometimes dreams or imaginations, but all still some part of me.Glad you enjoyed it!
