She sits down to do her homework,
And I`m thinking how hard could this be?
Would you like ole dad to give you a hand?
No thanks, the last time you helped,
The teacher gave me a D.

I look out the window and there`s my son
Playing a little ball,
Hey son you wanna play a game?
Yea right, old school
So I can watch you slip and fall?

I go upstairs and theres my wife
Watching some stupid show.
Honey,you wanna go shopping?
Shhh be quiet
close the door and go.

Finally, the game is starting
A game I`ve been waiting to see all day.
Down comes the wife,in come the kids.
Come on dad we`re going to the park to play.

Never Fails...

Sorry if the title was misleading but I couldnt think of any other.

This goes into the "Ain't it the Truth?" category. I salute any man who says family time is more important than game time....they are all lucky to have you as I'm sure you are to have them...best wishes to you all...

This really made me smile, Mr. Magoo.  It happens to me all the time.  I think Ain't It the Truth would be a perfect title.
