It almost went unnoticed,
All but covered with fresh fallen snow,
But somehow through months of cold weather,
This magnificent rose did grow.

A blossom the color of baby girl pink,
Standing strong as the winter winds blew,
Her leaves encased in crystal ice,
That clung like a summer morn's dew.

Unwilling to shed her petals,
She proudly struck a pose,
Casting an image of beauty,
This one, invincible rose.

How inspiring and beautiful!  Yes, even in the cold bitterness, life can bloom and grow.  A very hopeful message, lovely like your rose

Take care,
Melissa

Wow........goes to show you that no matter what obstacle is....with enough inner strength even the most fragile and beautiful images of life will win out.  Lovely write and very inspiring.

Hi Bonnie,

This beauty of a poem gave me such a good feeling, roses are my most favorite flower in the world, to me thay can speak anything you wish them to from the truest of love to the deepest of sympathy, this one I shall enjoy for a long time, thank you so much.

Love, Cerenity
