Between the hands I hardly knew and the hells I put me through I found a love, I found a friend. This love I found deep within. Something special I now do keep, and the benefits I now do reap. For this love did allow me to love myself better now. I see the beauty I could not find. I see it now, I was so blind. That I can't succeed would be a lie for all I have to do is try. Fight with all my breath and soul to feel complete, to make me whole. Sometimes my assurance still may wane, but I have friends that keep me sane. They pick me up when I fall, and place me back at standing tall. I never knew how 'happy' could feel, 'till I started believing in something real. And you can see the joy on my lips, feel it pouring from my fingertips. My search for love only had a bad start. the ending better, here in my heart.
