I remember when you used to fly
Like Superman into the sky;
You saved all damsels in distress;
Your energy was limitless;
You rode the planes out in the West
In cowboy boots and hat and vest
And bad-guys never stood a chance
When you arrived and took your stance
And robbers always fled the scene
When Super Cop would intervene;
And though those days are in the past
Their memories will always last
And boyhood dreams don’t have to die
For it’s in dreams you still can fly.

(David2's poem, Johnny Oglethorpe, reminded me of this one that I did
For my nephew's 21st birthday --2 years ago. Thanks, David, for reminding me of this and for your wonderful poem, too!)

This is wonderful Denise! What a lucky nephew to have such a talented Aunt who can still sweetly remind him that he can fly like this ... just loved it!

Best wishes,
/Kit

There are times that I have wished that I was as invulnerable now as I was in my mind at that early age.  This was wonderful and brings back many wonderful memories of escape for me.  Thank you.
