"The Moon"

Powerful and white
It stands out against
The velvet black sky

Fasincating and enchanting
It follows me as I walk
Upon the sandy shore
The cool wet sand I adore

High above my head I gaze
At it out the window
Of my bed

Thoughts of the day
Still running through my head
I go to the window instead

The moon so real to you and me
For we see it's hidden beauty
So many times in my life
Has it amazed me

The stars shine so perfectly
Around it, almost like
Their proud of it

The curling fog hides it
A little but
Still I see the moon
