She let her hair down
In cascading waves of amber light
Another day behind her
She embraces the night

With chores finished ~ tasks completed
kids tucked neatly into bed
now is the time she can let out
the emotions running 'round in her head

So much happening lately
Her only time to stop and think
She needs to find paper……………
Pen and ink

To her favorite spot,
Settled in with a cup of tea
She relaxes…………..
And let's her mind be free

From her heart and ink well
A peaceful river flows
~The moment of inspiration
Every poet knows~

Effortlessly in rhythm
The words make their rhyme
In blissful release she is grateful
For this, her special time

SEA,
Beautifully written expression of a poet's moment. Deep in thoughts as ever as the mind wanders into the web of poetry. Cheers

But SEA! I want this...ALL the time...along with being independently wealthy and that long cascading amber hair wouldn't hurt, either...

sigh but since that's not to be, I'll just have to put this in my library...

SEA~
It is indeed such a special time.

When my children were small - I would wait until they were tucked in bed for the night and then did most of my writing
while soaking in a hot tub of water.

I just laughed when I re-read that ...
for I still get such inspiration when I immerse myself in the tub.

Treat yourself to that special time -
for we love the results from you.

SEA,
I love this so serene and peaceful, not like my stuff which is penned at the oddest moments and in the strangest places.

Life gets so hectic (I know!) and poets NEED that time! This captured the moment nicely.
