Tonight

Tonight
I have no words for you
it's not that you made me angry
NO!!
I'm not blue
I'm just tangled up in charming lines
and you can't tell the truth
you think that I'm an easy mark
and I have an empty head
be careful how you weave those webs
for I may chew straight through
and you have missed your mark
the one that's caught
is you

Just when they think they have you, eh?
I LOVE this.

Can I be your willful breeze,
Come to touch,
Your heart to ease?

A great poem that exposes the double talking lies we are sometimes told...but a tangled web we weave becomes chains...glad to see you can see through it...best always...wanderer
