I sit here and stare; I'm missing you so much. This emptiness I can no longer bear; I long for your touch. The nights are long Without you here to hold me. Inside my heart lies a song That sings love's sweet melody. All I would need tonight Is the certainty of your presence So my heart can take flight To indulge in our love so intense. Will I ever see you again? Will I have your arms around me? I will not lay down this pen Until this heart's desire you can see. -kh 01/01< !signature--> What will I do with my life? First off...it is nice to see you not giving up on the rhyme scheme. Secondly, you have penned alot of emotions in this piece and I love the fact that you are not giving up til he finally sees the desire you hold for him. Wonderful write my friend. Does this mean that the Cardinal poem is going to rhyme? If you find yourself stranded in a storm ...then reach for my hand and we will play in the puddles together |

Mark: nahh...I'm having a good time with trying to get better at the rhyme thing. It's a refreshing change of pace. And, nope, I'm not giving up until I know he understands just what is going on in this heart of mine. I thank you for stopping by for a read, m'friend!
