May I whisper
Soft, by the flame
Through most revered
Of Poet’s name

Recorded time
Records a few
May the chords
Be sung anew

Recorded time
A piece is mine
Must it be true
We number few

The fork and knife
That feeds my life
Is in the sink
Just let me think

Sleep is vain
It clouds my brain
Thirst is worse
A needful curse

The page is long
It is my fight
The drink will fill
Every night

Follow me
From behind
You may see
In my mind

There’s a whole
Not a hole
You can see
Inside my soul

Now I’m freed
My pen will bleed
The Poet's name.
We are the seed

Hatched be none
Born from night
Looking down
Upon my plight

Guide my pen
It’s all for You
I can’t believe
We number few

Walt~
What a charming read.

'Now I’m freed
My pen will bleed
The Poet's name
We are the seed'

Yes, we are !
Long may we prosper and be heard.
