Live and Breathe a Dream

Have you ever raced with a dust devil
across the sands of the West?
Or twirled with a twister while it beat itself
against time?

Or looked out across the ocean separating us
and allowed your vision to rest upon two boats,
swaying against the current,
risking a thousand lifetimes,
for one moment?

I was determined to bring you back to me
by lighting the torch at the end of the dock
It's green light cutting through the mist
of our past

Now trace your finger  along my lips
and close your eyes ... feel the words
that are whispered in the warmth

Allow my eyes to touch where
the watchers never see
And allow my body
to welcome you home.

"...I am a river in winter,
quiet in the eyes of most
but deep,
swift and full of life
to one, lucky enough to fall through the ice.

Im not going to share the thoughts that this brought to mind.
I will say if one opens his or her mind this could be a sweet as candy or as sexy as Janet Reno in a thong....lol
Just kiddin about the Janet Reno part..
Very Nicely done.
