Star Of The Sun
By: Noah Eaton
1/20/01
Brigantines of cardinal light set sail through milky ways rivage
Mettlesome thunderbirds of day, summoned by this ol’ mighty sun
Placid phoenix ships, swinging aurora grapnel upon spaces sparkling bay
Devout light of life we receive, eternal gift given from Creator’s heart, the star of the sun

Bronze cithara of life he plays, enchanted crown of light he wears
Amidst this illustrious kingdom of the world, in all his Father’s creation
The natheless scepter of eternal love he holds high in young hands, legacy handed with care
A message his brigantines deliver to each of us, only felt, from the fanlight of his kingdom

O’ mighty anlace of light, may you pierce all our sorrows with all your might
Exscind the splinters of grief from our fingers, in spiritual excavation
Raise your hands in love to this ultimate eternal light
May our prayers be answered, may love and light overcome all, with loving dedication

With eyes that will shut asleep, but warm heart that never blacks out
Dreamcatcher weaved in his mind, all darkness winnow into spaces outskirts
This sun never sleeps, seeds of life blossom in the wake of every new day, anyhow
Nurtured in the velutinous lap of serenity, flame of faith riposte the pain and hurt

This headlight reminds us every day, from sunrise to sunset
That we are here, to share love to the world, to seize the day
To live this life, ensure us that the more we give, the more we get
To step up upon riches ladder, and to shimmer in glory’s ray

The candor condor takes flight from atop the wrist of this boy, flies gracefully away
Guiding the way to you, I, and the world, the leading of
Placid phoenix ships, swinging aurora grapnel upon spaces sparkling bay
Devout light of life we receive, eternal gift given from Creator’s heart, the star of the sun

When to the sessions of sweet silent thought,
I summon up remembrance of things past ...
I sigh the lack of many a thing I sought.

Hello Mistletoe Angel,

Wow, very nicely written. This certainly shows the depths of your thoughts, and the pen that you write with.

Noah~
This is replete with the voluminosity of a thesaurus ... ! !

My goodness ... you've done your homework !
This is such a full piece and as such is most enjoyable.

My only question is -
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Are you Nan's SON ? ?
LOL !  Couldn't resist !

You are quite the storyteller, Noah.

From the very first word you had me rapt.

Love it

Whew Noah, you've got a grand vocabulary here, almost had to get out my dictionary   Great read and I'm jealous of some of those words you've used
