A Bit of Silliness

I bought a bit of silliness
well...it was free for all.
I bought a bit of silliness
and then had me a ball.

I found it at the store
the one that’s five and dime.
I found it in the morning
and then had me a time.

Silliness was a bargain
I got it two for one.
Then I took it to the park
and had me lots of fun.

So if you’d like some silliness
to get you through the day,
You’ll find it at the dime store
and you won’t have to pay.

It’s on a shelf quite near the back
it’s usually red and seldom black.
It could give you a heart attack
if you should try to take it back.

So keep your silliness through the night
and in the morning you will agree
Silliness looks good on you
much better than it looks on me.

(giggles) This was such a fun poem to read, Virginia! Yes, we all have our own laughing place, and time to have fun and relive childish memories. (smiles) This was great, thank you for sharing, my friend!

The little silliness
that you wear -
Is really quite contagious !
When I tried it on -
the results were simply outrageous !

I found myself laughing -
giggling quite out loud ...
And in the mall - across the hall,
I really drew a crowd.

Suddenly everyone
was sharing in the glee -
And all because you shared
your silly bargain with me ! !
