Dragon Fire

My dragon has chide and fried my hide
And I nearly died.
Spilled smoke and snide through nostrils of pride
Rawhide my hearts bide.

Hot spillways of breath has blown me away
Near killed me this day.
Exported fair fact, clear to hell and back
One hell of a whack.

He unseat me first pass alas alas
Dumped, speared in the ...
But I stayed my course got back on my horse
Fought with maddening force.

I drove my ire through his nostrils of fire
Forcing his retire.
So now he remains with no one to blame
Quiet, tame and lame.

But I know he'll bellow his fire again
The question, is when?

Seymour~

You've reigned the dragon
one more time -
The embers now smolder
in the firey brine -

But what good is
a mellow bellow ?
Let it out
dear dragon fellow !

For what is a dragon
without his flame -
of fire to quietly
burn proclaim ?

Ah, alas - alack
give the dragon back
His voice of choice in the flame -
Dragon bellow out your claim ! !

*You just leave wonderful smoke signals to be read !
*Hugs*

SY cooled that dragons randy rage
put him in a dragons cage
will he return once come of age
only if Sy pens a turn of page

I'll answer your question of when ...
just as soon as I whistle for him again

I summon up remembrance of things past ...
I sigh the lack of many a thing I sought.

After Jm's response, I'm with you, Karilea. There's nothing left to say. She blows us away every time. I get the feeling she kind of like's Sy's poetry, and so do I.
WEll done, my friend, (she feebly utters)

Though a poet hems and haws
He'll one day lay in dragon jaws.
Sleep, sweet dragon, find your rest.
And when u wake, this poet you'll best!

Long live the dragon!  Sorry... they are my life, my soul, my fire.
