Cupid’s Ride

Pretty little boy born from myth
Searches for love’s sweet embrace
Ties true lover’s knot with fine lace
Shoots his arrows and never misses
Cupid’s ride guarantees many kisses

Pretty little boy born from myth
With dimpled checks and curly hair
Blesses true love with much fan fare
Flies here and there looking for love
Entices romance on wings from above

Cupid rides just once a year
On Valentine’s Day it appears

Pretty little boy born from myth
Waits all year for this one chance
Piercing the hearts with sharpened lance
To ride on love’s intense desire
Knowing he must ignite true love’s fire

Pretty little boy born from myth
Aims his arrows with jubilant bliss
Gives sweethearts’ a romantic twist
Exchange of tokens of affection
Cupid’s ride comes with much reaction

Cupid rides just once a year
On Valentine’s Day he appears
This pretty little boy born from myth

Cupid is a busy little boy. I'm still enjoying his arrow from over 30 years ago.

Great Valentines Poem! And I think he may be a myth, but I hope I'm wrong.

Cerenity, my friend~
This is just delightful.
Full of smiles and gaiety.
So wonderful seeing you, sweetie.

Cupid shot an arrow
into the air -
It swirled and whirled
I knew not where -

But I think
it must be true -
it fell into
the heart of you !

Hi
Catalinamoon and Marge

Thank you ladies, webster seems to think he is a myth but I think for a myth he's awesome, Marge, sweetie thanks trying to cheer up and your little verses are wonderful, writing helps the mind.

Hi Jwesley,

Thank you for your kind reply, and does someone know something I don't about weather Cupid is real or myth?

Love, Cerenity
