You spoke to me
But I wasn't listening
I was too busy getting the kids off to school.

You spoke to me
But I wasn't listening
The boss needed a report typed before noon.

You spoke to me
But I wasn't listening
Getting dinner on the table and checking homework
seemed all important somehow.

You spoke to me
But I wasn't listening
I wonder who you speak to now.

Don't take him for granted.

SEA - Thank you, however, sometimes we learn too late.

Oh my word.  Maybe it's not to late.  You brought tears to my eye's.  I know what it's like to want a second chance after realizing that you could have been wrong.  The urge to want a chance to make it ok is overwhelming.  Hang in there.  Thank you for sharing.
