Chantilly Lace

I braise my poems in rhyme and phrase
Ablaze them to avoid malaise.
I pepper them to audit awe
But always leave an exit door.

I glaze the words in spews of brew
See through views of symbol cues and
Place the threaded chantilly lace
About the head it will embrace.

I try to fit it to the mind
Massaging all of human kind
With dare and care I place it there
This lace to grace its loving heir.

I do not prosper all I sew
Some minds and hearts I do not know
But I try, I try, always try
And if I miss I sigh a sigh.

And say be kind my near embrace
It is my dear chantilly lace.

I like, I like *s...I think you succeed very well at all attempts to drape your lacings
around those who view your words and thoughts..*sighing*

wedding gown graced in lace
a chantilly frangrance all around
with dare and care I placed it there
only the promise of it to be torn down...

Sy...two of my favorite words, chantilly and lace...

evoking many memories...

sending you a soft smile...thank you...

By you words penned of lace ...
I feel the warmth of your poetic embrace.
Your rhymes of gold dance with grace ...
of my malaise ... granting chase.
Words of wisdom ... on the heart engraving trace ...
always to leave a sigh(SY) on my lips ... and a smile on my face.

No need to sigh, Sy... you never miss. *S*

And just the sight of your title has given me a gift of memory to brighten my day... many thanks. *S*

This is such a joyful, gentle read.  You've written very cleverly, weaving in and out your thoughts in rhythm and rhyme.
