Sycamores pose beneath a blanket of snow
A crystal blanket adorns naked limbs' aglow

Brazing in the sunlight, shivering in the wind
Enticing  moonlight, in shadows, naked skin

Whispers of the night, wooing naked trees
Phantom fingers touches softly the breeze

Silky lips of the moon, kisses tenderly, night
shadows sleep upon moon pillows, white

A bedroom of velvet, canopies of stars
Lullabies whisper, beyond spheres afar

Ebony satin gown drapes branches' nice
Seducing darkness on  bed of aqua ice

Icicles bleed music like an acoustic guitar
Serenading in the night's crystal boudoir

Wow! The imagery, the theme and thoughts in this are fantastic!  This is such a melancholy piece, yet so beautiful to read, the words flow off the tongue so smoothly.

Take care,
Melissa

Vic, I was not planning to read tonight, but this title captivated me. Your imagery is so beautiful and your colors, always make the world seem brighter.
Lovely poem.

I sigh the lack of many a thing I sought.
