I was surfing through a new site and happened upon this graphic, right there and then, I just had to write! 99% of the time, I write the poem first, then find a graphic, but not this time. Nice piece. I'm curious though...does everyone else get the graphic? I don't, just the little icon that usually indicates a graphic is 'coming..' Am I maybe missing a program that would open this particular one? I get the others, as far as I know. |

Melissa, beautiful double tanka.Something I woul;d like to try if I knew what a tanka is let alone a double tanka. The only way I would be able to write a double tanka would be to say tanka, TANKA! for posting this with it's accompanying graphic. write on Kethry Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. Kethry-Thank you! I'm sure that you would pen a great tanka - you have the talent for it A tanka consists of 5-7-5-7-7 syllables. Think of it as a longer haiku or senryu.
