Oh to be a cat, snoozing of the floor
Basking in the sunshine, soft purr and a snore
Lethargicaly lazy days, fun and frisky nights
My head without a single thought, it within my rights
Id be a cat, instead of me, I say
Lounging in the sun, all through the day

every day is a new day with which we can change the world

I often envy pieces of a cat's life.  I have 4 cats.  However, I'd rather use a washcloth and towel instead of my tongue. ;o}

A charming wee poem. Cats have long been the subject of poetic musing, I have a piece with the same title. Thanks for this, it's delightful.

(Edited in to correct myself ~ mine isn't the same title, but simply "Cat") (o:

Yes, they do have the life, don't they? At least the ones at my house.
Much enjoyed.
