Waiting.

Standing
Patiently and anxiously
Surrounded
By harshness
Of cold and icy
Pains.
Waiting!

Shivering
As the ice melts
Slowly and silently
Astounded
Arms reach out
With tenderness
Of warmth and love.
Smiling!

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

SEA,
A smile goes a long way to ensure the recapture of love and affection.

dvgarner,
Thank you, yes the wait can be more painful.

One small gesture can always carry love with it.  This was wonderfully penned and it is packed with much emotion in such a short write.  Loved the read.
