Time is not the enemy
Perception is the great limitor
Reducing emotion to equation
Forcing square pegs into round holes
Sight is not 20/20
Seeing with blindness inside
Limited by concepts embraced
Taught by rigid-minded souls
You cannot see what you don't feel
You cannot feel what you don't know
You cannot know what you ignore
You cannot see when you are blind
Milky opaqueness covers your eyes
You see through tunneled vision
Narrowing down to black and white
With no variations
Don't push me into your peg
I don't fit your narrow guides
Don't see me as black and white
I am the rainbow -- can you see me?

BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO!  This is one of the most excellent poems I have read in a long time!  Nicely written, message clear.  Truth shines through in this piece, not only from a personal standpoint of one desiring to "be seen" but also, from the spiritual aspects of the human being not being capable of always seeing the full scope of the diving plan.   I really liked this one alot...  I don't know if I read too much into in regards to your intent with this piece, but that is what it spoke to me!

First off welcome back and secondly...this was TERRIFIC from beginning to end but that doesn't surprise me at all.  I don't know if another human is capable of seeing all the color in another as we seem to never truely find it in ourselves completely. This one is most definitely going into my library so that the next time I need a boost....I HAVE IT.

Wonderfully written.  It takes a strong person to see sometimes.  Wonderfully done, I enjoyed it a lot.
