I can't seem to do it anymore,
Nothing wants to come out of my head.
A heart that once throbbed readily,
Appears to be made of lead.
But life still isn't perfect,
Things will never be fine.
No-one can be so happy,
Every second, all of the time.
No my heart, it doesn't mean to hurt,
It doesn't mean to cause any pain.
It just lies dormant, watching,
Waiting to be tamed.

The tragedy of it is that nobody sees the look of desperation on my face. Thousands and thousands of us, and we're passing one another without a look

Thank you both, I haven't been able to write much for a long time, as is probably evident.  The one thing I have managed to do is a four A4-sided essay, and I'm wondering if there is any way I could (in some form) post it here - any ideas?

Tom - You've got so many more ideas, styles and poems than me, how could I compare when I'm only on my 25th?

BloomingRose - I'm glad you can relate to it, I was afraid that many people wouldn't.  Are you a Debbie too?

Ta Debbie mate, I don't know how you can say that, atleast 100 of mine are on the same subject and sound almost exactly the same, you can't count them . And I seriously do like this poem, If you want a copy of all my poems, I can give them to you as a data Cd which you can put on your computer, they take up about 4 mb of space . I am writing more every day, up until recently when I ran out of words and ways of saying the same subject in a different way . I am experimenting at the mo, so expect my next few poems to be very weird and different .
Always loving your poetry, almost as much as you, but not quite
Ta alot .
