FeverFlu

As I try to breathe in the staleness, this air
And the hold on me, strangles me ever so tight,
Pressured I feel, in the lack of the moon
Deadened, the still, a shadowless night.

Creeping upon me, thoughts, lost once more,
World of forgotten, left hovering above.
Grayness of groupings, clouds forming a quilt,
Covering with heavy, the words gone, of love.

Chilled from the empty, bottled with wine
Of temptation building, a rising to peak.
Embroidered in spirits, woven of wishes
Wanting, desires, a "never" to speak.

Trembling hands, of touch, memories
Soaking in scents, vanilla proves strong.
Grappling for remnants, to weave open tears
Bathing in thought-feels, to patch over wrongs.

Souped in the warming, tasting the heal,
Always a fever, magnified in blue.
Awaiting the filling, contentment to find,
An everlast, forever, in moments of you.

~Wynter

Thank you Sea-
I am sitting here for awhile, reading  trying to get over this flu I have had for over a week...it just keeps changing course and feverishly I sometimes can't do a thing but sleep or read..this brain is too heavy weighted to write much lately and I apologize for not responding to others this past week or so...

Nice one, I really loved reading this poem, If I was a critic I'd say this poem was good, but I'm not, so I'll say it's fantastic .
Thanks alot .
