The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2001-01-16 07:06 AM

He seems to understand her heart
as words of comfort flow from pen
Listens as she so sad imparts
and makes himself known as a friend.

He takes her pain onto himself
and in so doing lessens it
He shores her up, she needs his help
he cares naught of her lack of wit.

Each time she cries for help, he's there
though he has sadness of his own
He shows through words, a heart that cares
and never lets her feel alone.

To this good man, she sends a smile
though frequently instead, it's tears
His kindness has seen her through trials
and gives her hope that peace is near.

To every man here at Passions who has given me hope that there are truly feeling, caring, and intelligent men left in the world.
Thank you

Applause!  I second that Sandra ... they are a wonderful group of gentle men, and it's so nice to know that there are indeed caring and tender hearts still dwelling in this world. Wonderful tribute to our men of Passions!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Motion passed...this is wonderful...isn't it great to take a special moment to thank those men at Passions who truly know the way to our hearts and minds...and them that leave us intact...

Well done Cat!

With Ron as the leader of this band, there can be no doubt that there are men here that deserve this wonderful tribute.

Here at Passions I have seen many a Knight in shining armour, and many a Prince Charming waiting there to console a fair maiden. I agree with everyone above me....the men who reside here are strong, yet caring, and share their loves and hearts.
What more could you want in a best friend?
Wonderful tribute to our men of Passions!!

This was very good. Its nice to see the sentiments shared here. It's a two way street though, you know. I think the men would agree with me on that.

Sandra, this was wonderful of you to do and you did it with such feeling that no-one can doubt your sincerity.  We all go through rough times and lonely times and it is always nice to have friends to turn to.  As one of the men here at Passions that have come to appreciate all you wonderful ladies, I thank you much for this wonderful tribute to all the men here.

From one Cat to another, this was just wonderful. The men of Passions are some of the greatest men around.  You also fufilled a challenge that I had from a while back.

"Each time she cries for help, he's there
though he has sadness of his own
He shows through words, a heart that cares
and never lets her feel alone."

Those are my favorite lines. That is how I made it though many of my bad times.
Take care
Love,
Lady
