Return to innocence
A wish, a hope, a prayer
With no enshrouding knowledge
To corrupt, create despair
No soil, no taint, no sin
No heart beyond repair
Returning me to innocence
To life without a care

Returning to childhood
All memory erase
All thought of pain, anxiety
Now will I displace
As innocence returns
To be seen upon my face
Returned am I to childhood
Here and in this place

Return to me salvation
A heart to breathe once more
No more vile damnation
No more a soul sick-sore
In reaching up, I'm living
With childhood as my core
Returning my salvation
As grateful peace flows o'er

Return to innocence
The template now renewed
My heart is very clear
My pain has been eschewed
My creed, my write, salvation
Has become my food
Returning me to innocence
Denying my life crude

Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. Patty Hansen.

Kethry love, this is you, and your spirit shines in this one love it really and truly does. Utterly wonderful piece from you.
And it of course joins the others there in my Kethry wing.
Take care love

you'd be mine.

Ah, yes, to come as a little child.

Many want to go back to being young while retaining what they've learned in order to take better advantage of youth.

Innocence is without experience.  Coming 'as' a child is coming without the things we've seen, heard, experienced tainting a clear faith.  Nicodemus asked, "How is it possible?"

With man impossible, with God...;o}  Wow!

All of a sudden, I have a favorite of yours.  THIS IS IT!!  Wonderful penning and very insightful in many ways.  This is what we should all strive for even if it is only a few minutes a day.
