How was your day? Each night you ask me “How was your day?” I reply with answers you want me to say I woke this morning switched on the Television And saw 200 people had been killed for religion I walked through town, saw people without homes, And others’ in suits talking on their mobile phones Some people must beg in order to survive Yet you, me & others we take for granted, our lives The things I see sicken me inside Yet there’s nothing I can do, but get on with my life These thousands of people they starve whilst outdoors And you ask me how my day was? “It was fine, how was yours?” ~~Steve~~ June 2000 |

Steve.... I am always glad when I have the chance to read the words from another 'observer'. You don't just look at the world in it's state of conflict....you actually study it!! This poem was inspiring, and extremely well-written.  Write on! -<--<--{(@ |
