gently she stirs
in the quiet of his voice,
          nearly a whisper

her hair undressed
and pillow-tousled,
she smiles
at the surprise of him

he speaks again
and she reaches out
to touch his lips as they move

but all she hears
          is his voice...

the words mean something
but she cant know what
     just now

for it is his voice
that stirs her heart

this morn...

Wonderful write. Whispers can be very pleasant when accompanied with the right voice and words. Love this style of write from you.
