One Woman One Man
By Richard Maxfield
1-14-2001

Place yesterday in the past
All those days have gone on by
Every wrong suffered then
I will kiss until they fade

Tomorrow is yet to come
But I promise the sun will rise
I shall always be there for you
Forever at your side

As I take your hand
I place it on my heart
Pledging my undying love
Eternity and beyond

For this is our wondrous day
The day for which we were made
Together we walk hand and hand
One woman one man

Sir Richard,

    "Every wrong suffered then
I will kiss until they fade"
    So precious are thy thoughts
    as in my mind invade
the wants, desires, said by ye
    a wondrous pen you hold
    Today, tomorrow, forevermore
shall thy words within be told.
