Summer Child

I’ve just been told by a voice on the phone
That myself and my spouse will no longer be alone
Something will fill, my life each day
As a baby, I’ve heard, is on its way

A summer child will be born, in the month of June
Five months and counting, it will come so soon
I can’t wait to see that sweet innocent smile
Look up at me, as I hold my child

What was once a twinkle, in my eye,
Is now to change, you may ask why?
A baby so sweet, so innocent, so nice
Is to be given the greatest gift, which we know as life….

For you Emma

~~ always…. Steve xxx ~~
