A Question Of Beauty Or??

Does a question always have to an answer to find?
Are nights’ endings always by dawn’s beauty signed?
Is the warmth of the sun held in a flowers’ heart?
And the miracle of life where does it actually start
Does the ocean wave begin or just continue ever on
If you listen carefully can you hear the winds’ song?
Should I seek any answer or shouldn’t we even look
For these answers are somewhere they’re in HIS book

Beauty can fill your heart and enrapture your soul
But would you still see it with no food in your bowl
If you hunger and have meager food for you to eat
Would you still wonder at beauty see it as a treat?
Or would the fact that your eyes burned with pain
Make you only wonder if you would ever eat again
Wouldn’t a beautiful sight to you be fields’ of corn?
Knowing that the child had a chance to be born

Music can inspire many lifting spirits up on high
But what use is it when it can’t stop one child’s cry
It can stir the heart and it inspires many great deeds
But music can’t help you it doesn’t fill hungers needs
If you have to exist where each day you fight to live
What use is music when it hasn’t food or drink to give
Before we say we’re unlucky we have no leisure time
Remember you have plenty and the chance to dine

I’m not saying beauty has no place where we exist
But I ask how many of us have felt starvation’s kiss
When we sleep in a bed that’s safe, warm and calm
Imagine how if in the nights fears brought real harm
So don’t just shut your eyes and pretend it’s not true
Spread some joy and hope around HE will thank you
For HE designed the world as an ever wondrous place
For every single one of us, for all of HIS human race

Marsha...
What questions you have here..

Does a question always have to an answer to find?
Are nights’ endings always by dawn’s beauty signed?
Is the warmth of the sun held in a flowers’ heart?
If you listen carefully can you hear the winds’ song?
Would you still wonder at beauty see it as a treat?
Wouldn’t a beautiful sight to you be fields’ of corn?

All the answers we may never find, simply because there are none, or maybe just because we aren't supposed to know..
Perhaps we look too hard for them when we should maybe just slow down and be thankful for the questions we know the answers to..Geez, Look at me rambling on ..
This was lovely and this you know...
Hugs to you... ~LL~

Me, I think I have the answers, just as you do Mushy, in my heart and soul.  It's in the knowing and the believing, the awesome feeling that His love is real. But even without that knowledge, I believe us all capable of knowing inside by the giving of ourselves to others through love, compassion, forgiveness and sharing.

Great write, my friend.

Marsha~

Deep ponder pool
This school of thought
What questions asked
What answers sought
I know without a doubt you see
there is no beauty
in a hungry belly
Be it child, woman or man
No beauty on this earth can
Fill the need
of the seed
as hunger dwells in poverty
All the music of the song
does not fill a tummy long
Does not make a warm, safe bed
for the weary to lay their head
For it's up to us you see
to provide for those
less fortunate than we
God provides the best He can
then He leaves the rest to man

~Thank you for this thinker.
I needed this today.

Marsha, you really got the cogs in mi head a-turnin' with this one.....which is good, coz I think my brain needs exercise to tie me over til I go back to uni. Anyway, thanks for this, it really is wonderful, and ya know maybe we, as a race, don't need to look for the answers to everything. We've become too inquisitive. We're not the makers of all things...HE is, and we should just bask in the wonderous things He's given us and stop with the questions!
Great write Marsha, I'm liking it muchly

Mushy,
questions with no answers scry
the hope of man to live and try
to leave to God the by and by
the things we cannot do

the things we can do,yes! we should
to create a brotherhood
first within our neighbourhood
and then those far from you

Look what you did! Inspired me to write. Thank you.
write on love's song

LL love, thank you, this came out of hearing a conversation in the canteen, about overwork and underpay. Quickly followed by hearing two patients discussing their so hard done by lives. So I wrote this, and since it came out fairly easily, I guess it was meant to be written.
I do thank you, and I personally believe that it's not us for us to have the answers, but to reflect love back to all. And if we did that the world would be the beautiful place HE wished it to be.
Take care love

Jimmy love, yes love I do, and this is my way of showing just that. And by passing that love on in whatever way we can, we are doing what we should.

Margie girl, this is so awesome it should be posted in it's own right it really should. Please do love, it deserves to be so. It truly does. And it won't be seen by as many if it's left here love. And I think the message should go out to as many as possible. And thank you, for the gift of it.
Take care love
