A purple moon shining tonight
in an aquamarine sky
a hazy lazy pale moonlight
flirting stars blink shyly by

Beautiful as the fourth of July
a romantic umbrella unfolds
sweet as lemon merinque pie
twinkling with lilacs and golds

Your arms around me as i hold
this special moment in time
this purple moon i behold
flaunting its umbrella sublime

A purple moon reflecting our love
touching souls with its lavender glove

(sigh) Beautifully romantic, Victoria! I sure loved that lemon meringue pie and lavender glove lines, those are brilliant, the whole poem was marvelous! Thank you for sharing, my friend!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Victoria
It's such a lovely
purple moon a'hanging
in the sky tonight - gives
a very special glow-to a love
so bright Shining there for all
to see - but shared by two
in special memory-way up
high in aquamarine sky
shine on purple
~moon~

*This was lovely, and I thank you for the inspiration.
