Bathing Reverence

Bathing reverence endorsing the horizon high
Dipping it's toes into the crest of dusk bred tide
Descending slowly the clouded staircase of sky
The sea cleansing the tears this day has cried

Fireworks of sunset explode in hypnotic trance
Urging our vessel across the birth of new waves
Teaching us the steps to this evening's dance
Crests of white yielding to the hull it enslaves

The small of my back giving way to your hand
Tracing out the course of each seagull's flight
Ushering in Luna to the silence of heaven's band
We breach past the confines of man into the night

With a million words shared in a fraction of time
As our eyes linger briefly in a gaze of lover's bliss
Searching the path for tranquility's peaceful climb
We set sail past the fears and embrace our first kiss

MarkB~
You know I find this beautiful.
The flow of your words brought the picture to life -

From the emergence of the lovers star of the night sky -
To the lovers in the breaking of the surf,
You return my thoughts to the shore,
building sandcastles of romance.

Awesome, my poetry-in-your-blood friend !
You are WONDERFULLY talented.
Write on - write on.
I'll always be here to read such surrender of thought.

Mark my friend, this is stunning utterly stunning. A really breathtaking piece.
I just couldn't choose one particular line verse or stanza, and you know how rarely I quote lines back.
Really amazing work.

Poeminister-Thank you so much.  I am glad that you enjoyed it and found
it pleasant to read.  I got lucky when I found the graphic but it did seem to
be just what I was looking for.

Karilea-I guess there is something to being speechless at times.  Thank you
much.

Martie-Thank you my dear friend.  I have learned a lot from you and for that
I thank you.  Your works teach me and encourage me to expand or at least
try to.

Sunny1-If I left you in awe my sweet sister then I am humbled.  Thank you
very much for always being there to send a smile my way.

Charisma -Thank you very much my friend.  I too love this graphic and I
once had it on a wall in my house but someone talked me out of it.  Darn
it, I must have been half asleep at the time.LOL  I am glad that you like it
my friend.

Deb-No but one smile from you lets me know that you think it is and that
my friend is always enough.  Thank you dearly.

Marge-Well, there are always sandcastles to buile are there not?  So  I
guess I have no choice but to keep on writing.  Thank you from the bottom
of my heart my friend.

SEA-Thank you much my friend.  Perfect romance is one that never stops
searching for a way to be heard and that is why I sometimes stretch.

Kit-If I managed to take your breath away then my friend, I am elated.  Thank
you so much for always shining brightly for me.

Marsha-Why thank you my friend.  I am glad that you liked the whole poem
and that you saw the beauty in it.  You have always given me more response
than is deserved and I thank you dearly for that.

Sandra-When the time is right and the right man appears, believe me, you will
find yourself swimming in romance like this everyday.  Chin up and don't force
it....it will come to you.  Thank you so much my friend for you and for always
bringing a big smile to me.

Victoria-Thank you for reading it my friend.  I am glad you enjoyed it.

Coco-Have I told you lately how nice it is to have you here?  Well, let me tell you,
YOU MAKE THE DAY WORTH GETTING UP TO.   You always find a way to make
everyone smile and you are never at a loss for words of praise and I thank you for
that and for you.

Tracie-Thank you my friend.  I am truely happy that you enjoyed this one and that
you were able to read it.   You are a shining star here in Passions and you better never
even think of leaving.

jwesley-Thank you much.......and the picture is easy to find.  Just search the web for
posters and such.  If you want a real print of it....I am sure that any local framing shop
can get it for you.   It is very popular.

JM-PROSE??????????????????   What is that???  LOL   Yeah yeah yeah, I know and
I promise, I will do another prose soon.  I am just waiting for the right time okay.  Thank
you so much my dearest friend for always pushing me when I need it and for making me
realize that MAYBE my works are worth reading.    You are always there to boost so many
of us and you know that means the world to me.   Thanks sweetness.

Gale-Thank you my friend.  I am glad that you enjoyed it.

Gentle Spirit-WOW........thank you for all that.  I am truely honored and to go in your library is an honor that I do not take lightly.  Thank you so much for that and for your enthusiasm.

First off - this goes among my treasures
