Cast Me Away Not

It is too very easy to be despondent
in a world of cast-aways
when all good things with life therein
simply through time do not stay.

I would hearken back to the 30's
even though it was dust-bowl dirty
that every little piece of heart owned
was tightly held against the wind a'blowing.

Ah those times, when all precious things in form
brought back sweet memories of strife torn
days, and hours sweetly played ~
ah, how it was when cast-aways stayed.

When on this globe, nothing over months of age
would dare to center this world's stage,
without being jeered at as "commonplace"
and such this very act gives me provoked rage.

So when it's apparent that I collect treasures
do not regard it as a measure of wealth,
when wealth is inherently one's health,
but that it is an art's form that my eyes measure.

Finally, cast me away not upon a heap of rubble,
but remember that I gave you sunshine bubbles,
to ride upon to blue skirted skies
and do not cast me, or others, nigh.

Sunshine,
Exceptional write, and strongly conveyed thoughts... This day of age the flash from old thing to new thing happen so quick.  I wish I could  slow everything down, but things seem to just go faster and flash, or cast, things away....
I like "blue skirted skies" and "sunshine bubbles"...altogether a wonderful peice.

Kari love, cast me away, but i shall ever stay close in heart and spirit to Kari's beams.
Utterly beautiful, evey single line, every single word. Written in love and sunshine. And I have those champagne bubbles lifting me.
Love it dear heart
Take care

I don't think there's an equivilant of me love, but if there were it would be Puck, that michievious sprite from a Midsummer Nights Dream. (Just don't let me catch you getting amourous with Bottom the weaver.
Take care kid always
